The room was gorgeous and spacious with a lovely view. I loved the in-room breakfast setup! But, man, the vibration from below was so annoying and took ages to fix. It kinda ruined the vibe after such a nice start. The staff seemed a bit out of it, though the food was tasty.

My Deluxe Double Room was absolutely delightful—bright, airy, and filled with all the little cozy touches like a coffee maker and fridge. I adored the self-served breakfast, featuring fresh juices and cereals, allowing me to kickstart my morning at my own pace. The ambiance of the pub, coupled with a warm fire and delicious local dishes, truly created a magical experience.

This place had a cozy vibe, perfect for walkers with plenty of outdoor seating! The food was amazing, especially the creamy mushroom and brandy chicken dish. I even enjoyed a good panini with Brie and bacon.

My stay at the Anchor Inn was quite pleasant. The room was spacious and beautifully decorated, offering a charming view of the garden and surrounding fields. The temperature was perfect, and the bed was exceptionally comfortable. I appreciated the tea and coffee facilities, which included ample fresh milk. The DIY continental breakfast setup, with bread, cereals, jams, and a coffee maker, met my needs well.

I loved the lovely garden area where I could unwind with a view of the river and enjoy my morning coffee. One small issue was the noise from the kitchen, but it didn’t ruin my time at all. 😊
